Tina Chandler, Faith-Based Community Initiative Coordinator

Tina Chandler joined the St. Joseph Chapter of the American Red Cross as an AmeriCorps member in September 2011, after having worked in Washington, D.C. as a Program Officer with the Africa Division of the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative. Tina graduated from Bloomsburg University in 2007 and received an M.A. in international peace and conflict resolution from American University in 2009. She will serve as the Coordinator for the Faith-Based Community Initiative, a program that recruits and trains local religious communities in Disaster Training and Response, along with encouraging these congregations to become active in sponsoring refugee families.
